About this truck

This 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited resided with two prior owners before it was purchased in 2021 by the seller, who performed a majority of the modifications and has taken it off-roading on various trails in Arizona and California. The retrofitted 5.3-liter Vortec V8 is linked with a 4L60E automatic transmission, an Atlas dual-range transfer case, a 1977 Ford-sourced high-pinion Dana 44 front axle, and a LM1 Metalworks 9″ rear axle with 35-spline shafts. The axles have been stretched for a lengthened wheelbase, and the truck rides on a triangulated four-link rear suspension, Radflo front shocks and MetalCloak springs, Radflo rear coilovers, and 17″ Raceline beadlock-capable wheels. Additional highlights of the build include custom bumpers, high-clearance fender flares, rock sliders, PSC hydro-assisted steering, and Speedhut gauges. This LJ Wrangler has been in Arizona since new and is now offered with service records, spare parts, accessories, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name. The truck has been used for off-roading by the seller, who notes that they have taken it on almost every trail in Arizona and California, including the Rubicon Trail. The truck is finished in Jeep Green Metallic Clearcoat with a black-finished hardtop to replace the Dark Khaki Sunrider soft top. Exterior modifications include a GenRight aluminum louvered hood, custom bumpers, MetalCloak high-clearance fender flares, GenRight rock sliders, Motobilt quarter panel armor, Nacho LED driving lights, LUX rock lights, J.W. Speaker headlights, Trail Tail taillights, and window tint. The seals for the hardtop have been replaced. Photographs of blemishes are shown in the gallery below. The Carfax report shows accidents in July 2011 and February 2012. The axles have been stretched for a total wheelbase of approximately 109″, and other revisions include a 4.5″ lift kit, a triangulated four-link rear suspension, long-arm links, 2″ adjustable Radflo front shocks, 2″ Radflo rear coilovers with remote reservoirs, MetalCloak front springs, 1350 CV driveshafts, Currie Antirock sway bars, a PSC steering stabilizer, 1.25″ Artec Industries body mounts, Reid Racing front steering knuckles, and an aluminum steering kit with tie rod ends. The 17″ Raceline RT231 Monster beadlock-capable wheels are mounted with 40×13.50″ Toyo Open Country M/T tires that were installed in February 2026. The front axle has Yukon Hardcore locking hubs, and the truck uses a PSC hydro-assisted steering system and a 1/2-ton RuffStuff Specialties disc brake kit. Barnes 4WD skid plates protect the belly pan and engine, and an additional skid plate covers the fuel tank. The cabin was trimmed from the factory in Khaki cloth, and the black cloth-upholstered bucket seats were sourced from a JK-generation Rubicon. The rear seat has been removed, and a Milwaukee Packout toolbox is located in its place. Front grab handles are affixed to the padded roll bar, and other interior details include a Sony touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well as a BedTred floor covering, a Winters SideWinder shifter, twin-stick transfer case shifters, Kilmat floor insulation, USB and USB-C charging ports, aftermarket speakers, and an overhead switch panel. The heater and evaporator cores for the air-conditioning system have been replaced. Speedhut instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, which is said to represent the distance covered on the replacement engine that was fitted at approximately 113k miles. The Carfax report shows a mileage inconsistency in October 2025. Approximately 31k miles have been added under current ownership. A 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was retrofitted in December 2024 in place of the 4.0-liter Power Tech inline-six. It features an aftermarket air-intake system, Holley fuel rails, and a 26-gallon GenRight fuel tank. An ARB dual-motor air compressor is located in the engine bay. The factory 42RLE four-speed automatic transmission and Command-Trac dual-range transfer case have been swapped for 4L60E and Atlas units, respectively, and they send power to the rear or all four wheels. The former has been rebuilt with a shift kit and a Corvette-sourced servo, and the latter has 4.30:1 gears. Additional modifications include the following: The exhaust has a dent on the left side.
