1 / 174About this truck
This 2004 Jeep Wrangler SE resided with two prior registered owners before it was purchased on BaT in August 2025 by the seller, who commissioned over $19k in work and modifications between 2025 and 2026. It included fitting a 2″ BDS Suspension lift kit, 15″ Mammoth Boulder wheels, a Bestop soft top, a receiver hitch, tubular bumpers, nerf bars, and aftermarket audio items along with performing a timing belt service for the 2.4-liter inline-four and replacing the steering linkage, tires, and various suspension and braking components. The truck has been driven 18k miles, and the engine is linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Command-Trac dual-range transfer case. This TJ Wrangler is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The truck is finished in Flame Red Clearcoat (PR4) with a black-finished hood decal. Modifications include a black Bestop soft top, a receiver hitch, tubular bumpers, nerf bars, and aftermarket headlights. The hood has worn paint, and it received paint correction and paint-protection film in 2025 under current ownership. An XPEL Fusion Plus V2 ceramic coating was applied in May 2026. Photographs of some blemishes are shown in the gallery below. The truck rides on a 2″ BDS Suspension lift kit with Fox shocks as well as Charcoal-finished 15″ Mammoth Boulder wheels. A full-size spare is affixed to the swing-out tailgate, and the wheels are mounted with 31×10.50″ Toyo Open Country A/T III tires that were installed under current ownership in 2025. Other work at that time included replacing the steering damper, drag link, brake fluid, tie-rod ends, bump stops, front brake rotors and pads, and rear wheel cylinders. The high-back front bucket seats and fold-and-tumble rear bench are trimmed in Dark Slate Gray vinyl, while Jeep-branded rubber mats line the footwells. The sound system uses a JBL BassPro SL2 subwoofer, replacement speakers, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with a graphic equalizer. Other interior details include a padded roll bar and air conditioning. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 2,900 of which were added under current ownership. The 2.4-liter inline-four was rated at 147 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque when new. A timing belt service was carried out under current ownership in 2025, at which time the oil pressure sending unit, coolant, and engine oil were replaced. The battery was replaced in September 2025, the serpentine belt was replaced in November of that year, and the fuel pump was changed in February 2026. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Command-Trac dual-range transfer case, both of which had their fluids replaced between September and October of 2025 along with the gear oil. The transfer case was dropped at that time. Some signs of corrosion are noted on the frame.
